Sakar International, Inc. has been tapped by Sanrio, Inc. to produce a full range of Hello Kitty consumer electronics. Sakar will debut the collection at the 2008 International Toy Fair taking place February 17-20th, at booth 373 in the Javits Center in New York. Over the coming months, Sakar will be developing a comprehensive range of Hello Kitty electronics including digital, video, and web cameras; computer accessories, MP3/MP4 players; and a range of other products including youth electronics and toys. The full range is slated to hit shelves in early summer 2008 and will be marketed to kids, ‘tweens and teens. “Sakar feels particularly excited to be part of a multi-generational phenomenon that is Hello Kitty. Girls and women of all ages adore Hello Kitty and we are focused on creating several lines that appeal to different age groups. The market has been there and Sakar plans on giving the retailers and consumers the electronics they have been asking for, for years,” said Liza Abrams, Director of Licensing for Sakar International. “We’re extremely excited at this offering of electronics from Sakar Int’l,” say Andrea Sobel, Vice President of Marketing, Sanrio, Inc. “The marketplace feels targeted at men & boys much of the time & we’re thrilled to offer Hello Kitty fans a product offering targeted at girls of all ages.”

Sakar International, Inc. announced today it will add a digital video camera and a line of flashlights to its range of Crayola consumer electronics for kids. The line of kids’ electronic products under the Crayola brand, aimed at Crayola’s core audience of children aged three to seven years old, is highly interactive and colorful, combining learning with fun and value. The line currently includes digital cameras and computer accessories. Products are available at mass retailers and electronics stores nationwide.
Digital Video Camera $69.99 – The new digital video camera has rubberized parts for easy handling, 1.5” color preview swivel screen, proprietary software for creating movies and adding special effects, a built-in microphone, and the ability to watch on TV directly with TV in/out. The camera is PC compatible, expandable SD slot, 300k Pixels and records audio on video.
Upgraded Digital Cameras $59.99 – The digital camera features a 2.1MP, SD memory slot can hold up to 2GB, 1.5” preview screen and new packaging which headlines camera specs.
Flashlight Tag $19.99 –These flashlights come in the shape of Crayola markers and are available in a multi-pack with instructions for playing flashlight tag. Flashlight tag is great for parties and camp!
Projection Flashlight $14.99 – This heavy-duty flashlight comes with clear plastic lenses and Crayola Pipsqueak markers to create images that will project onto any white surface.
Crank Flashlight $9.99 – Mini-crank flashlights come in several different color choices, does not rely on batteries, include a wrist strap for easy carrying and are well-suited for camping trips, camp or just catching fireflies!

Sakar International, Inc. announced today that it has recently been granted the rights to design and develop a full range of consumer electronics for Marvel Entertainment’s Hulk and Iron Man movies. Sakar currently holds the license for Marvel’s The Amazing Spider-Man. Sakar will be debuting its Hulk and Iron Man consumer electronics collections to the trade at the International Toy Fair in February 2008. The collections will include digital cameras, flashlights, spy gear, CD players, MP3 players, and digital video cameras. Prices will range from $5.00 - $80.00. The product line is planned to launch at retail – from mass to specialty - to coincide with both movie release dates.
