My batteries seem to drain quickly. Do you have any suggestions for extending my battery life? Yes. Many of our cameras are high drain devices and may go through batteries quickly if you do not follow these guidelines. Never mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different kind. Avoid using lithium batteries designed for specialty items. Inexpensive, generic brand batteries may not work as well as name brand batteries. Using NiMH rechargeable batteries instead of standard Alkaline batteries may also help as well as save you money and are more environmentally friendly.
